What’s Elementor and what are its uses for me?
Elementor is a plugin for WordPress that undertakes the tasks of giving you an interface with which you can visually develop your website. It’s incredibly powerful, versatile and basic to learn. Inlet’s website is solely created by Elementor Pro.

What’s the difference between Elementor and Elementor Pro?
Elementor is free to use, while Elementor Pro has to be paid for, which I think is a very good investment to be made, since it gives you full control over your website.
But what about themes?
When I used Elementor, the free version, I had to use a theme called OceanWP, which did the job. It was rather tricky to learn how to make it compatible with Elementor’s pages, but it’s not impossible. Such is the cost of free, but it’s never free because it takes-up your time.
So how did I get over that problem? I upgraded to Elementor Pro, which gave me the opportunity to switch to the theme Elementor Hello. The theme is very light and does reduce latency time for your website, while giving you full, and I mean it, control of how your pages look, react and could change, while with OceanWP, you are restricted in terms of visuals and functionality.
So what should I do?
You can use OceanWP’s theme with Elementor until you reach the point where you buy Elementor Pro. Keep in mind that upgrading should be done only if you require the additional functions, widgets and perks. If you are to have a simple website without much function, other than that of information, then you can keep to the free stuff.
All that’s good, but I don’t know how to start!
